49cc FACT
I have always run with 87 grade gas in my pocket bike because I am cheep ass when it comes to spending money. FACT after putting in 91 octane I gained from 5 to 10 mph more in top speed. I weight about 180 lbs was able to take my X7 about 35mph. Normally, I can run it about 25 mph. Felt like it could go faster but I would need to change the gear ratios to increase the top speed.

The x7 is a little bigger then the 47cc pocket bike but it cost generally 100 dollar more. If you are cheap and don't want to spend to much, the cagllari, mx3, and rsr are decent price with a low price tag. If you want to save even more then www.pocket-cycle.com should be the first place to look.
